My baking career started when I was still living in Israel. I was born and raised in a small Kibbutz in the north of Israel, called Kibbutz Hanita. There I first got into contact with cooking and baking, and I’ve noticed since a young age how much joy and energy being in the kitchen brings me. As the Israeli culture is quite literally centered around food and eating, I understand and lived the value of tasty, healthy,
and high-quality food. It became my personal goal to let as many people around me as possible, enjoy all the amazing pastries and baked goods our immense culinary culture has to offer. So, I decided to start studying at Dan Gourmet in Haifa,
where I learned the skills to pursue a career as a baker.
In 2009 I moved to the Netherlands, and in 2015 I was blessed with a beautiful daughter – Emilia. As she grew a bit older and was ready to start school, I immediately felt the urge to go back to the kitchen and bake for the people around me. I received the Dutch Social Hygiene certificate, and now I have my very own bakery. Currently, my bakery is operating from home, but I have big ambitions for the future. So if you are craving something tasty, be welcome and eat, Yalla Ballagan!
